With fast greens and more carpeted surfaces being laid, NARROWER bias bowls were obviously giving some players an advantage. Discovered the world famous* Almark EDGE gives you all the control you need.

Favourite of mine, the Dreamlines - first set your OzPianoman ever bought Brand New.
Unbeaten on a few big occasions; Great bowls they are: Honest, Consistent, Predictable.
Lawn Bowls buyer again a couple of years later - next went for Almark; The EDGE.
Not because they're "Cheap"; Not because Steve uses them; Not because I couldn't get the bowls I wanted from Mr Taylor;
But because the Edge bowls were an Absolute Treat to use!Secret weapon...
Sufficiently similar performance to some wundabowls peoples' tongues hang-out-over;
Common sense said to me "Why not SAVE money?" Edge will do me !

Although other makes and models are avail here, this page was really about EDGE;
And about why, if you want low priced bowls you'd best get in VERY VERY quickly and grab them.
It's simply because there's been a Lawn Bowls Clearance going on.
For us, it all started when for some members at my club I submitted a bulk order.
Industry friends then gave us special access to lawn bowls at wholesale prices.
For the Almark EDGE and for other brands too.
With retail prices at $630, $680, whatever ... we jumped at the chance!
Then I created a little storm at ebay. Australia responded. NZ too! But sadly, the specials are fast running out.
Might soon be seeing USED bowls at higher than my NEW prices!
It's happening already with certain brands at auction being considered by bowls buyers as "precious".
WHY SO? WHAT'S GOING ON -
Is it because the NEW excruciatingly ultra models are so With It, so Trendy, so Technologically Superior?
